I started this blog journey because I know the importance of writing down my families' recipes. When my grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia it really sunk in that I would never be able to get those favorite recipes that she used to cook with. The secrets she held on to, and the stories behind the dishes will always be cherished. But I created this blog so that my kids, and their kids will always have these recipes on hand. I want them to always remember what mom's house, grandma's house smelled like. The best memories are not those in pictures, but those that are too busy to pick up the phone or camera and are created in the moment.
